documenting design
To document my journey at MDEF, I chose to use the GitBook platform, as recommended. I value its simplicity, intuitive interface, and efficiency, which are essential for creating clear and accessible documentation. However, I must admit that I would prefer more customization options, which GitBook unfortunately does not offer.
Storytelling
When considering the narrative approach for my documentation, my vision was clear from the start: a combination of images, videos, and extensive written explanations. Since this documentation is not only for external purposes but also for myself in the years to come, it’s important for me to include everything I consider valuable and explain it comprehensively. Written text, even if lengthy or seemingly excessive, is the only way to clearly articulate what I’ve done and thought, leaving no room for ambiguity.
While reviewing my site, I realized that adding a section dedicated to pages from my notebook could be both useful and engaging, serving as a way to make my site more personal . My notebook contains notes from lectures, reviews, and personal reflections, and having these readily available within the documentation would make them accessible and valuable for future reference.
