During the course of collective Intelligence, we combined talks, workshops, and a collaborative session. The main themes revolved around shared values, commons, design ontologies and epistemologies, and the potential of decentralized collaboration to address contemporary design challenges.

While some of the concepts initially seemed complex or difficult to integrate into my work, the activities throughout the seminar helped clarify their significance and applicability.

We explored practical examples from global design communities such as Distributed Design Platform, One Army, and Precious Plastic, which demonstrated how democratizing resources and knowledge can foster resilience and inclusivity.

Over the course of these three days, I found myself increasingly engaged with the topics discussed. Although I struggled to grasp their purpose at first, by the end of the week, I had gained a clearer understanding of their relevance and felt more connected with my peers. The activities and discussions highlighted how crucial it is to establish a safe and productive environment, starting from the fundamental needs of each participant.
